Goodbye Old Friend
My beloved X100S Lena has been lost as a casualty of an Amazon Vine Review. I unfortunately forgot her here and this refrigerator door was opened and she fell to her untimely demise. Now normally cameras fall all the time and they get up again, but Lena hit just the right way and now she turns on but she has no screen functionality and you can't turn her off until you remove the battery. I have a good mind to send her back to Fuji for repair fully knowing that they are going to charge me the price of a new one to get her repaired. She took great images and was really fun to shoot with. She is not easily replaced as she is years old and people are still asking for upwards of $700 for ones older than this. So for now I will wait as there is a X100VII on the horizon which I will put my pre-order in and wait the 6 months until it can get delivered Or I can pay a $400+ premium on a used X100V or X100VI. This was a great experimental camera or just a great pocketable camera to take with you anywhere. She will be missed.
