The Inevitibility of Awesomeness
There is that annoying thing that adults say to kids that sometimes opens the cocoon too soon. "You've got such potential" it is sometimes enough to pacify oneself into ok I'm good enough or it may boil over into I'm too good for this program and I've surpassed all you can help me. Since witnessing these kids play I have seen them come into the program and develop confidence and seen them transform into truly awesome musicians. Those who stick with it. ..This kid (as with many in the program) is a phenomenal guitar player able to rock scores of many bands with ease. It would seem that the slightest push be behind him to thrust him into the next level of where he wants to go.
